Classic Audio

… A MOOD

Putting a real record on the record player – lowering the pickup arm slowly onto the record and listening to some lovely music.

It’s an atmosphere that is absolutely fantastic.

There is a fantastic sound experience when listening to music from a vinyl record, the sound quality is significantly better than the sound music streaming or a CD can provide.

Get the stored (forgotten) records up in the attic or visit one of the stores that sell used vinyl records and find your favorite music.

Did you know that lots of new music releases are also released on vinyl today.

If you found your old record player in the attic when you picked up the records,
Classic Audio offers to completely renovate it and your pickup, so that you can enjoy your records on a record player in a quality like when it was new.

Here are some of my favorites among the classic turntables

BEOGRAM 1000

A real classic

Bang & Olufsen produced this record player in the latter half of the sixties. A lot of them have been sold and they are not hard to find. But you will have a lot of problems with a Beogram 1000 that has not been completely refurbished.

BEOGRAM 1500

A slightly unknown version of Beogram 1000 with built-in stereo amplifier. Connect a couple of speakers and you have a classic music system.

BEOGRAM 1800

This is a rare record player. The first with automatic from B&O. Beogram 1800 is very nice, made of nice aluminum and with a really nice lid.

In addition, the technical quality has improved a lot compared to e.g. Beogram 1000. Beogram 1800 can be supplied in several types of wood.

BEOGRAM 1200

It’s actually the first turntable B&O designed (in my opinion). It is really nice and together with the Beomaster 1200 you have a fantastically nice classic system.

BEOGRAM 4000

It is the world’s most beautiful tangential record player (I think) – A design icon from B&O

The quality is quite simple – top quality.
Beogram 4000 can compete with the best turntables in the world.

BEOGRAM 3000 m. THORENS TD124 MKII

It is the most sought after and rarest B&O record player.
It is also the most expensive.
It was only sold in 1968 and was designed for the fantastic Beolab 5000 system.
